Lichen is a game about surviving on alien planets.

Game under construction! Subscribe to get notified when the demo comes out! :)

Lichen 1.5 is most of the underlying code to make the game, along with some art and soundtrack, but not Lichen itself, so don't get your hopes up quite yet. Playable demo soon, in a few weeks maybe!

For all you developers, the makefile has detailed instructions for compiling Lichen, and also for altering it to make your own .c games! There's also a changelog in the code/lichen-1.5 folder.

Lichen is open-source and free-to-play. This freedom extends to the art and soundtrack, which are royalty-free and licensed CC-BY (or equivalent) from their respective artists.

Lichen survives off of player donations. Consider donating. Every little bit helps!
